Cancún picks RCD Espanyol de Barcelona up for sponsorship
The Quintana Roo Estate touristic brand in Mexico, will be the main sponsor for RCD Espanyol in the next three seasons
RCD Espanyol and Quintana Roo Estate in Mexico, with their brand as main touristic destination world wide, have reached an agreement through which Cancún becomes the main sponsor for our Club for the next three seasons. This agreement, totally innovative in the LFP, will entail that the first team kits will show the Cancún logo at the shirt front, amongst many other considerations which are to be detailed in the presentation act which is due to take place in our ground in the next few days.

The sponsor agreement is a result of the merge of the projects of global growth of two brands which share in common the same modern and entrepreneur values. For said reasons, RCD Espanyol wants to thank to the Government as well as the Quintana Roo Tourism Office for the bet they have placed in favour of our Club, being fully convinced that both parties will be reinforced both at present and in the future to come.

Strategical alliance
Cancún has bet for RCD Espanyol for they consider our Club to offer a great human and organisation potential in which it is important the youth of our fans. Besides, Barcelona and RCD Espanyol will be a valuable platform for Cancún as first class expansion and promotion as a touristic destination. RCD Espanyol and its modern Stadium, together with its potential as a centennial institution and a reference in their environment, will supply to Cancún excellent networking ways for their institutional and business relations in Europe. One of the best grounds in the world will promote one of the best touristic destinations at global level, thus merging the interests of both parties in order to develop their whole potential.

This agreement confirms RCD Espanyol will to expand internationally, opening to emergent markets like those in South America and Asia. The white and blue entity considers a great opportunity at all levels to share commercial and branding targets with the Quintana Roo Estate and their major touristic destinations such as Cancún, Cozumel or Riviera Maya.
